I've examined 45+ doctoral theses. On Thursday 17 September I'll read three real pages live and tell you exactly what I'd be thinking as the examiner, and you'll score them with me before I do.
Nobody ever shows you how your thesis will actually be judged. You write it, you submit it, and you find out afterwards.
This is that hour, in reverse.
I'll take three real, anonymised pages, none of them from anyone in the room, and read each one cold. Before I give my verdict, you score it in the chat against the criteria I'll have just explained. Then I tell you what I'd be writing on the examiner's report, and why.
By the end you'll know the three things that break most doctoral writing, and you'll be able to spot them in your own. Plus you can ask me questions.
