The Viva/Defense Rehearsal
Your thesis, and a date in the diary.Â
The viva/defense room is what candidates usually do not practise properly.
You've submitted, or you're about to, and the viva is what you can't revise for on your own. I've sat on the other side of that table 45 times. I know which questions get asked, which answers satisfy an examiner, and which ones open a door you'd rather keep shut.
I read your thesis, then we run a 120 minutes as a viva. Recorded, so you can watch yourself.
What you get back
A 120-minute recorded mock viva, run the way the real one runs.
Written feedback on your presentation slides.
This includes your 15-30 minute presentation, where you get feedback on the slides and your delivery of these.
I skil read your thesis to ask you questions an examiner would ask about your work not generic ones..
A guide with typical questions and model answers beforehand
A written report afterwards: the questions you answered well, the ones you didn't, and what to say instead.
The two or three places in your thesis an examiner is most likely to press, and how to hold your ground there.
The recording, to watch again before the day.
Turnaround: booked to your viva date. Get in touch as soon as you have one, because these dates fill.
